Having split his time between audit and risk management over recent years, Tony worked via the Institute of Risk Management to obtain a formal risk management qualification and also with CIPFA to gain his Counter Fraud Risk Management certification.
He has been the Lead for both Audit and Risk Management for the Devon client, with oversight of the Partnerships wider Risk Management offering which includes everything from bespoke training sessions through to the implementation of Enterprise Risk Management. He draws on both his formal qualifications and his experience of many different sectors both public and private in his Role of Head of Partnership and this includes construction, hospitality, telecoms, charities, education, governance, local government, the health sector and blue light services to name a few.
Tony’s depth of experience matches the diversity of the clients he has supported with audit work including Key Financial Systems, Social Care, Planning (inc S106 and CIL), DBS, Public Sector Integration projects, major ICT undertakings and specialist construction projects.
Tony uses his experiences of Risk Management, Internal Audit, Project, Programme and Consultancy reviews to help the Partnership to deliver consistently high-quality work that regularly exceeds client expectations. His skills and knowledge allow him to be called upon to support the delivery of work across our client portfolio.
